HOPE HELPS

Audio Video Techs: This is the brains behind the worship sound and video components of our weekend gathering. Experience determines position, and the goal is to train up multiple persons for each position to provide opportunities for an environment of learning and growing. How do I get involved? Greeters: We assist and greet first time visitors making them feel welcome and comfortable as they arrive at church. We also greet and serve the entire Hope Crossing Church Family with a great smile, a loving hello and a warm handshake so as to prepare their hearts for worship. This is our First Impression Team, and the heart of Hope Crossing. The impression people get when they arrive whether for the first time or the hundredth sets the tone and makes an impact on how that person will engage in the gathering and with our church that day. Hospitaiity: To staff the Church Campus Patio Hospitality tables before, during, and after weekend gathering providing visitors and members with an opportunity to have a cup of coffee and a donut. This is our first impression team who can and will provide a place for community to develop and relationships to foster. Ministry partners need to help set up and brew coffee, and facilitate bringing and setting up for clean food distribution and clean up.

Legacy - Children's Ministry: LEGACY Children’s Classes help children learn biblical truth and biblical principles through such creative method as drama, music video and audio instruction, puppets, crafts, teaching and discussions. Therefore, qualified volunteers who are committed to the spiritual development of your child staff each classroom. LEGACY help children discover the difference the love of Jesus can make.

Our ministry exists to:

• Love our children,
• Equip them with Biblical Truths,
• Guide them along a path of spiritual growth,
• Accept them for who they are,
• Caring for their safety and salvation while staying
• Youth focused at each age level helping them to surrender their lives to God.

Prayer: Team members commit to praying as a small group in a quiet area prior to or during the Worship Service. They pray for all aspects of the service, focusing much prayer on the pastor, his message and invitation. The Ministry Team Members receive a weekly mailing of the Weekly Prayer Requests turned in on the Connection Cards and pray for those assigned requests. How do I get involved? Recycle: The recycling Ministry consists of a small group of reliable hard-working people who work behind the scenes sorting and loading recyclables into bags each weekend. Each team member works 1-2 gatherings a month. Their efforts help make it possible to purchase Bibles that are put into the backpacks we distribute to the homeless in ours and surrounding communities. How do I get involved? Usher: Ushers serve at the worship service of their choice by helping with the following responsibilities.
• Greeting and giving out bulletins
• Taking the offering
• Praying and helping members and guests
• Assisting with any problems that members or guests may have.

Worship: These are the talented folks who provide the music for our weekly gatherings and special events. If God has touched you in a musical way we would love to have you join our worship team. To honor those who serve and protect the integrity of this ministry, our Ministry Partners here will be asked to come to rehearsals and audition prior to singing at our weekly gathering. The ministry is not just about the time on the stage, but the time needed to practice and rehearse.
