Who We Are

Pastor Pat

Pastor Pat is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who has decided to dedicate his time, treasures, and talents to growing God’s Kingdom. He is a different kind of “church guy”, and has spent his entire life collecting experiences that have helped form him to become the man he is today, and collectively have led him into full-time vocational ministry as a pastor who burns to spread the Word and watch God change lives. His path has been nothing short of an anointing combined with divine guidance, where he has traveled from corporate America to entrepreneur-ville. He has been a corporate officer, a small business owner, a ministry partner, a servant and a student of life.

Pat is a family man who married his hero (Gina) and has four amazing gifts from God that are the greatest accomplishments of his life. Pat decided to go back to school to finish his undergraduate degree to complete something he had started years ago. After deciding to go back to school Pat’s first undergraduate class at BIOLA University was New Testament. This class changed his life, perspective, and direction. During this class it was when Pat realized he would be studying this amazing book for the rest of his life, and found this book to be his source of strength and guidance for life.

He trusts the Spirit when it moves in him, and spends time seeking God’s voice in and for all areas of his life. He knows he is accountable to God first, and the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:3-6 ring in his ears as a reminder of the responsibility he has in preaching the Gospel. Pat really believes in keeping things simple, and the simpler the better.

Pat has been the pastor of one of the alternate worship venues on Saddleback’s main campus called Overdrive for more than 5 years, and is where he found his stride and answered his calling for the first time.

Pat also lead the ministry team at Saddleback as they helped Saddleback members discover their unique SHAPE and begin fulfilling their purpose in serving the Body of Christ – through C.L.A.S.S. 301 and resources that help individuals take their next steps on the journey towards serving.

Pat received his BS from BIOLA University, and is completed his Masters of Divinity at Rockbridge Seminary. Pat lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife, Gina, and their children, Spencer(18), Jordan(13), Kyle(12), and Tyler(10)
